I am a Bihari and believe me, I am damn proud to be one.

Hospitality to strangers, self respect and devotion to work are some of the characteristics of Biharis. Not generalizing it, but most of the Biharis are brainy people, despite the imagine that predominates in everyone’s mind that they are illiterate. And if some are not the brainy one, they are hard working a lot who sweat out to make a position for themselves. The people with pure love, patience and dedication.

Bihar has led slower economic growth than the rest of India after 1990..reasons are many but the most important we term it as  “the Jungal Raj”..imagine you joined a company with a given salary and 15-20 years down the line you get the same amount..what would happen to your House hold? living style? Children’s eduction? health? Same happened with Bihar in lalu raj..15 years..nothing changed, no improvement, factories closed, partition of revenue generating area, Jharkhand. All these resulted in poverty, corruption, crime, illiteracy, migration, poor health. In comparison with it other states kept growing and so the people!

So if we talk about economic growth of a state or country it is mainly driven by good governance, connectivity, electricity, health, education, and the fact is, till now Bihar lacks all these. The long years of darkness have made people to live with it..The one who want change either migrate or send their kids outside with a hope ki “jo hame nahi mila hamare bacho ko mile” ya “jo hmne ni dekha wo agli peedhi dekhe”. And with this the bihari kids, parents and family get seperated at a very young age. The challenge to groom oneself, adapt with the fast changing society and culture is always there for the people of Bihar. Few try! Few achieve! Few fail! Few leave!! The one who leave, takes the wrong path and puts more burden on us to carry their sins. “Kuch ki wjh se, sare bihari ek jaise”.

But we took all these in a positive way..we grew, we became stronger, we achieved. Every jokes, every failure taught us something. “ek pagalpan hai jo soch liya to kuch ban ke dikhaynge”. We represent our culture and family and take every step to prove others that we Biharis are way different than, what you have framed us in your minds. We fight for things, can do any kind of work small or big with full respect and dedication. Sometime you will feel left out, as most of us commonly use “hum” instead of “main”. We feel different, a sense of respect and togetherness with our language.

“Jab tmhari koi na sune to sirf apni suno”

SATISFACTION AND ANTICIPATION!!!

I know its been too long..but i must say i was not feeling to write too...since last two weeks i feel, i am working a lot still i have time. Its hard to find out the reason but i find it happens when you are new at some place, the gap prevails of the time spent with your family or friends after work.  Is the weekend party only thing to fill that gap???? Life changes, your schedule changes, people changes what to do then??? I preferred writing!!

I am experiencing a burst of sudden satisfaction and anticipation at the same time. There are new things in making, and still going on. My work is not yet done but my salvation is compete because my life is in God almighty's hand. I worked hard i got something but the end is with him.

A work in progress is what you become, and gladly with true heart and mind. I have experienced, for a while, we call it salvation, and i know it till now to have never failed me. I got right people with me. It is the one decision i know i will never regret, and if i do it will be because of my own faults.

We complicate matters when we keep relying on life situations to show us the way other than the one who is there is to put you out of the situation. Find that mentor, that person who relay thinks for you to pull you back on track. It can be any imaginary source too your ideal, the god almighty you follow or just be with yourself for some time the answer will be there.

Debt always makes a way to follow, to be silent, so never keep debt in life weather in form of grievance or its monetary. Keep it balanced this will give you freedom, freedom to speak, freedom to live strong. Life is never the same, we have to sacrifice, adjust and fight with situations. I prefer we should always keep one thing with us i.e our passion, it gives you strength, self belief and the comfort zone during hard times.

Life is simpler when you have someone thinking of you miles away, It takes all your burdens away and you feel normal, Keep the good people around you and be happy. I am satisfied with what i have but the anticipation or speculation of getting better keeps me worried!!

It's A New World

I never imagined, one day i will be watching NFL (National Football League) and cheering for Dallas Cowboys lying on the couch in America. This is what life is all about..the unpredictable and mysterious. You never know what's going to come next and when... For me its all because of my big brother who works as an Associate in a software company at plano and i am here to see him.

One thing i want to add here, this is not the football we people know, it is American Football played with hands not foot..quite similar to Rugby. Not only football there are many things that are completely opposite to what we do, know or think..like we drive Left they do Right... Switch ON/OFF operation is opposite...We drive in KM, they drive in miles.. temperature in Fahrenheit, Weight in pounds, Gas instead of Petrol, Bills for money, Football is called soccer and many more...

one reason for this can be that these Americans want to do everything opposite to Europeans. Might be old rivalry thing.. So we follow EAST and here they are WEST..!!! 

Life here in America is completely different. Everything is so standardized and organized. Since i landed on Sep 25 at DFW till now i am curious, amazed and doing research on what ever i see.. people, property, system,administration, land, traffic, living style, food and many more. 

It's 7 PM here means 5:30 AM in india..the power sleep time for us.....so you can understand my situation..feeling drowsy with heavy eyes...scientifically the phenomenon called as JETLAG..!! Hopefully i will get over with this soon..ni to sone jagne ka kuc pta hi ni lagta..LOL

Texas is the second most populus (after California) and the second largest of the 50 U.S. states (after Alaska) in the United States of America, Geographically located in the south central part of the country (Source-Wikipedia). Texas shares an international border with the Mexico so you can find Mexican food and culture over here, and i am at Plano, a city in the state of Texas, located mostly within Collin County and is called the Gymnastics capital of the world. So i am interconnected with Plano-Dallas-DFW and my activities for this trip will be restricted to these areas. 

Life here is Easy, Electronic and Automated. Easy because of government polices, Electronic and automated because you as a citizen is equipped with so many facilities right from your home to workplace. Automated doors, laundry, Gas station, Car wash, Food outlets. In simple terms i may say you will find more machines than people. Roads flooded with cars and rarely you will see a person walking along road side. People here are seen either in car or at home or workplace.  A different scenario than other big cities over here like New York, Vegas, Boston etc. 

These are my initial views and experiences..will keep you updated....

Today.. Game's greats descend on Lord's 15:15 IST Marylebone Cricket Club Vs Rest of the World XI 

It is going to be a carnival for the cricket fans..i am also very excited to watch all cricketing giants on same field. I can say these are the players who inspired me throughout and because of them only the worm of cricket is all over in my blood. I grew up watching them and tried to copy them in my cricketing career. 

All time cricket greats play together whoever wins doesn't matter they have won lots of fans hearts. I am excited to watch sachin,dravid,lara facing warne & murali.Hope there will no interruption of rain we will see full 100 overs been played.

I wounder what would me my life without cricket..it gave me so much..the immense pleasure and satisfaction. 

Going to be a sleepless night..
